Brian Brown

  • Nickname: Flyin Brian
  • Hometown: Lakeside, CA
  • Birthday: February 20, 1978

Brian was born with racing in his blood. Brian's father (Ron Brown) and his family have been involved in many types racing over the past 50+ years. His father and uncles along with some close friends are where the Brown Bros Racing came to term that was known well around Southern California. His father and there team had won multiple track championships in Street Stock and Modified Divisions at the former Cajon Speedway which was locate in El Cajon, CA.

Brian started racing karts at the age of 11 and continued until the age of 13, actually winning his first Championship at the age of 12. Brian then moved on to other interest but never lost the want to get back in the seat. In 2000 at the age of 22, Brian purchased an older Street Stock to race at El Cajon Speedway on the 3/8 paved oval where is family had raced since the early 80's. Running just a couple handfuls of races he managed to win a Feature prior to selling out and moving on to raising a family.

Brian again found a way to get back involved in racing by starting his oldest son (Dustin) in karting. He watched his son win a championship in a Kid Kart division and again in the Junior 1 division, while this was taking place he also got back in the seat himself of the Senior TAG division where Brian was also able to win a championship in the 08 season. After this season Brian and his family focused on the individual sports that each of the boys were involved in and made some career choices which required all there focus.

With the home life stable and the Career change for both him and his wife Brian and his family decided to go racing again. In 2016 Brian purchase a Dirt Street Stock to try his hand at a different type of racing. Him and his team, father (Ron Brown), uncle (Tom Brown), cousin (Scott Brown) tore down and re-built a Street Stock to race at the local track (Barona Speedway) starting in the 2017 season. So the Dirt racing has begun.
